As a Database Solutions Architect (SA) you will design complete solution architectures based on AWS database services. Have you developed complex applications? Are you an experienced Oracle/SQL Server/NoSQL Platform Specialist? Have you worked on Open source Database platforms like PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, Casandra, or NoSQL? Have you migrated Applications from one Database Engine to another? Have you designed and architected complex database solutions incorporating both relational and non-relational technologies? The Database Specialist SA will collaborate with our customers and partners on key engagements. You will engage with Database Specialists Sellers and other stakeholders supporting sales activities such as customer discovery, ideating, white board solutioning, presenting, educating, leading technical deep dives, and other technical sales support activities for an assigned US division and territory. You will develop and deliver proof-of-concept projects, technical workshops, and support implementation projects in order to develop or migrate Applications from on-premise databases like Oracle/SQL Server to AWS eg. AWS RDS, Aurora-PostgreSQL/MySQL or other Open Source platforms. You will focus on customer solutions such as OLTP/OLAP environments, designing and deploying future state data services and building and/or designing reference configurations to enable our customers and influence AWS RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB and other NoSQL databases adoption.
