About The Position
Project Kuiper is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. Its mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet to customers and communities around the world, and we've designed the system with the capacity, flexibility, and performance to serve a wide range of customers, from individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity. Kuiper Productivity Engineering is seeking an experienced Senior Database Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our SAP HANA database environments. This role requires deep technical expertise in SAP HANA architecture and will involve collaborating across Infrastructure and Applications teams to improve performance and efficiency. You will ensure the architecture is reliable, highly available, and observable. This is an on-site role that requires employees to work from the company's office 5 days per week. Remote work is not an option for this position. If the employee is located in the office outside of Bellevue, WA, the role will include up to 10% of business travel.
