We are looking for a versatile, curious, and energetic Senior Database Engineer to join our team of passionate and dedicated engineers. This role will primarily focus on Distributed SQL database technologies such as ClickHouse and StarRocks. The Database Engineering team is part of the Platform as a Service (PaaS) group under the Operations and Infrastructure (O&I) division, which delivers operationally excellent open system database infrastructure and services both on premise (private cloud) and in public cloud. We design, engineer and build reliable, scalable, secure, highly available and cost-effective database infrastructure solutions for our product development partners. The team also provides Level 3 database support for any operational issues and serves as the next level escalation for the Database Reliability Engineering team. This is a global team spread across multiple locations in different time zones.
