The SQL Server DBA will be responsible for the architecture, design, and security for all database systems, with a focus on SQL Server RDBMS systems. This includes the design and operation of Highly Available systems, Disaster recovery implementation, and standardization of builds for systems ranging from large ERP systems to small applications. This is a "hands-on" position requiring solid technical skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and architecture of the SQL Server workloads, ensuring their operational readiness (security, health and performance), executing data loads, and performing data modeling in support of multiple development teams. The candidate should be proficient in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions. The candidate must also be proficient in using ETL tools. Must be capable of working independently and collaboratively.
