About the position
The Sr Data Scientist for Rx Personalization at CVS Health is responsible for generating insights and developing machine learning and deep learning models to enhance patient engagement and improve medication adherence. This role involves deploying models in a production environment, designing A/B tests, and collaborating with various technical teams to optimize data processes. The position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Generate insights and build machine learning, deep learning, and statistical predictive models.
- Develop analytical approaches to drive patient engagement tactics aimed at improving medication adherence and patient experience.
- Deploy large scale machine learning and deep learning models in a production environment.
- Design and execute A/B testing, evaluate bias, and develop strategies to minimize or account for experimentation bias.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering, IT, and other technical teams to onboard new data sources and create feature stores.
- Optimize and automate model development and deployment processes using tools like Github and MLOps.
- Write complex and efficient SQL code and leverage Exploratory Data Analysis techniques to develop insights from transactional records.
- Prepare communication materials such as presentations and reports, collaborating effectively with business, marketing, trade, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in generating business insights, machine learning, and deep learning frameworks.
- 3+ years with deployment of machine learning and deep learning models in production.
- 3+ years with cloud-based ML frameworks (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
- 3+ years with Python and SQL.
- Strong proficiency with Github and MLOps.

- Hands-on experience working with Snowflake and Databricks.
- Experience working in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.
