About The Position

Data Risk Managers at Capital One are highly motivated Risk Management professionals with excellent organization and communication skills. They have a high level of exposure across lines of business and have the opportunity to create and implement innovative solutions to identify and mitigate potential data risks for the Company. This position will focus on Data Risk Management for Capital One's Risk Management organization.

Requirements

• Bachelors' Degree or Military Experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in data management, data quality assurance, or data warehousing.
• At least 5 years of experience in business systems analysis, audit, project management, or supporting internal business clients.
• At least 2 years of experience in people management.

Nice To Haves

• 3+ years of experience in anti-money laundering, compliance, or risk management.
• 2+ years of experience with reporting tools such as Tableau or QuickSight.
• 2+ years of experience with data inquiry and extraction using SQL, Python, or Presto.
• 7+ years of experience in data management, data quality assurance, or data warehousing.
• 7+ years of experience in business systems analysis, audit, project management, or supporting internal business clients.
• 3+ years of experience in people management.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with enterprise data standards and procedures for assigned areas of responsibility.
• Provide data risk guidance both within and beyond the organization.
• Influence data risk policies and procedures at the enterprise level.
• Develop and leverage key relationships with line of business and enterprise data management stakeholders.
• Create the strategy for the organization's data management efforts to align with enterprise data policies.
• Monitor and report the organization's data management efforts, identifying gaps and remediation options.
• Design and/or share data management processes, procedures, and tools.
• Design and implement local data governance processes and procedures.
• Manage a team of one to four associates.
