This position is office-centric and is responsible for monitoring, supporting, and managing applications running in production, including managing and correcting issues and providing break-fix operation support. The role involves leading BI Platforms Operations Vendor Teams (20+ vendor resources) responsible for the administration of BI Platform components, services, and solutions such as Microstrategy, QlikView, QlikSense, nPrinting, Tableau, Alteryx, Metric Insights, PowerBI, and Sigma. The position also includes managing over 1000 batch jobs, dashboards, reporting, and enforcing SLAs and OLAs. Additionally, the role requires planning and executing platform upgrades and infrastructure patching while enabling best practices to ensure stability. Other responsibilities include change, request, incident, problem, IAM/SUSA access, and capacity management, as well as risk findings and audit request management remediation. The position supports migration activities via CI/CD and SDLC programs to target production platforms and involves cross-training and mentoring vendor resources to build a cohesive team. The role also includes product management of Rally PI Initiatives for BI Tools, onboarding target state cloud platforms, and providing end-to-end support services. The position aims to drive operating efficiencies through performance improvements and automation opportunities, and may lead or participate in all stages of the SDLC development process, providing inputs to development teams. The role requires troubleshooting complex technical issues, analyzing data to find root causes, and developing technical solutions in a timely manner. The position also involves partnering with engineers, data scientists, and data office leadership to define and refine data architecture and technology choices, generating reports summarizing production performance, and mentoring less experienced teammates.
