The Sr. Data Integration Engineer for Business Systems at Lovesac is responsible for managing system operations and ensuring a seamless omni-channel customer experience. This role involves collaborating with various teams to understand data requirements, recommending technical best practices, and serving as a subject-matter expert within the IT Business Systems team. The position is fully remote and requires the ability to travel as needed.

  • Build a sustainable integration architecture workflow across current and future applications.
  • Lead collaboration with vendors, engineers, analysts, and leadership to ensure database integrity and application software functionality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver integrated solutions.
  • Manage and oversee data flow for primary applications including ERP, eCommerce, and POS.
  • Own the integrations of various application platforms via API, EDI, and modern middleware technologies.
  • Oversee the integration of various data sources ensuring seamless data flow across systems.
  • Perform regular system monitoring to verify the integrity and availability of all systems and processes.
  • Develop new deliverables based on strategic requirements and best practices for documentation.
  • Work with technology vendors to ensure compliance with integration and API standards.
  • Stay updated on trends and emerging technologies in data engineering.
  • Determine testing needs, create test plans, and evaluate testing results.
  • Initiate and manage cross-functional communication to resolve integration-related issues.
  • Manage issues and escalate as needed to IT representatives or department heads.
  • Establish and implement test plans to verify quality code and data integrity.
  • Perform any other reasonable duties as requested by management.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Data, or Communication preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in Enterprise Data Integration; public company experience with a SOX control environment is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Lead Engineer with a focus on cloud-based solutions.
  • Experience with API/Rest preferred, EDI.
  • Experience with NetSuite, Celigo, SPS Commerce preferred.
  • Understanding of building and scoping out development.
  • Advanced fluency in MS Excel.
  • Experience in a fast-growing company environment.
