NBCUniversal is seeking a Data Architect to review internal and external business and product requirements for data operations and activity, suggesting changes and upgrades to systems and storage to accommodate ongoing needs. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to automate deployment, testing, and monitoring of applications. The candidate will implement and manage serverless solutions (e.g., AWS Lambda, EMR Serverless, Kafka, SNS, SQS, Athena) as part of the application architecture and will implement infrastructure as code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation. The position requires collaboration with development teams to set up automated testing frameworks, ensuring high test coverage and code quality. A basic understanding of relational data modeling and the ability to articulate the reasons for using non-relational systems in architecture is essential. Experience in digital media ad sales business and ad serving technologies is also desired.
