Sr. Data Engineer
About The Position
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing data systems and pipelines that support advanced AI/ML applications within a Navy IT command. You will collaborate closely with AI/ML engineers, and other technical teams to ensure the efficient and scalable processing of large volumes of data. This role will involve leveraging best practices in data engineering to create robust, high-performance data architectures, enabling the effective deployment of machine learning models and supporting mission-critical defense operations. You will also be involved in maintaining data quality, ensuring compliance with security protocols, and streamlining data workflows to meet the needs of the client's IT systems.
Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant experience or Bachelor's degree
- 7+ years of relevant experience or Master's degree
- 5+ years of relevant experience in data engineering
- Active DoD Secret clearance
