Team Overview Global Risk Analytics (GRA) and Enterprise Independent Testing (EIT) are sub-lines of business within Global Risk Management (GRM). Collectively, they are responsible for developing a consistent and coherent set of models, analytical tools, and tests for effective risk and capital measurement, management and reporting across Bank of America. GRA and EIT partner with the Lines of Business and Enterprise functions to ensure the capabilities they build address both internal and regulatory requirements, and are responsive to the changing nature of portfolios, economic conditions, and emerging risks. In executing their activities, GRA and EIT drive innovation, process improvement and automation.

Requirements

  • 7-10 years minimum experience in data, compliance, or risk functions.
  • Adept at detecting and remediating organizational/process weaknesses and deficiencies.
  • Ownership and accountability for delivering high quality work.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
  • Strong written, verbal, presentation creation and delivery skills.
  • Well organized with attention to detail.
  • Willingness to challenge the status quo and a track record of driving change.
  • Experience implementing process improvements and automation.
  • Intellectual curiosity.
  • Strong risk management and data quality mindset.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • Knowledge of financial services industry and related regulations.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degrees or above in fields including but not limited to: Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Process and Mechanical Engineering, Operations Research, Data Science, Accounting, Business Administration.
  • Experience applying quantitative methods such as modelling, data analytics, machine learning, and statistics to develop business solutions.
  • Programming skills (e.g., Python) and solid understanding of Software Development Life cycle principles.
  • Knowledge of Scrum and Agile principles.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and guide the Domain/Product Data Testing team in adopting and implementing the Scrum framework.
  • Remove impediments, promote collaboration and ensure adherence to set milestones.
  • Manage tools (JIRA) and reporting.
  • Partner effectively with Global Compliance Operational Risk (GCOR) and various teams within GRA/EIT.
  • Collaborate with process owners in the Front Line Units and Control Functions (FLUs/CFs) and Data/Technology partners.
  • Understand processes, identify risks to successful execution, and prioritize/plan for the development of methodologies.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of processes and controls, data accuracy, and adherence to applicable Laws/Rules/Regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with key senior stakeholders, auditors, and regulators.
