About The Position

AAA Club Alliance is currently seeking a Senior Data Architect to join our team at one of our office locations in Wilmington, DE; Columbus, OH; or Cincinnati, OH. This role follows a hybrid schedule, with onsite collaboration required Tuesday through Thursday. The primary duties of the Data Architect are: Design and implement comprehensive data architecture solutions that meet business requirements. Develop and maintain data models, data schemas, and data dictionaries. Ensure data architecture is scalable, maintainable, and aligned with industry best practices. Oversee the integration of data from various sources into a unified data warehouse or data lake. Review and assist with the creation of source to target mappings and other data engineer enablement tasks. Collaborate with business stakeholders, data scientists, and other IT teams to understand data needs and provide architectural and/or data model solutions. Contribute to the development and execution of the organization’s data strategy, Advocate for data-driven decision making within the organization. Evaluate and recommend data management tools, platforms, and technologies. Assist with enforcing data governance policies and procedures. Ensure data integrity and security within designs. Mentor and guide junior data architects and data engineers. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or IT related field; equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in deploying cloud programs, including design, implementation, and operations of Lakehouse and Data warehouse architectures using 1st party services on GCP/Azure/AWS required.
  • Experience with data warehouse design tools, for example, ER Studio, Erwin, etc. required.
  • Experience using SQL queries as well as writing and optimizing SQL queries in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets required.
  • Experience with agile delivery model required.
  • Experience in managing multiple stakeholders in a collaborative, fast-paced environment required.

Nice To Haves

  • 3 years leadership experience as a data architect with a track record of delivering design solutions preferred.
  • Experience developing integrations across multiple systems and APIs is preferred.
  • Experience with Big Data tools like Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, etc. is preferred.
  • Experience with machine learning and AI is preferred.

Benefits

  • The starting base compensation for this position is $100,384 to $170,815.
  • The base pay range shown is a guideline for compensation and ultimate salary offered will be based on factors such as applicant experience and geographic location.
