Team Overview Global Risk Analytics (GRA) and Enterprise Independent Testing (EIT) are sub-lines of business within Global Risk Management (GRM). Collectively, they are responsible for developing a consistent and coherent set of models, analytical tools, and tests for effective risk and capital measurement, management and reporting across Bank of America. GRA and EIT partner with the Lines of Business and Enterprise functions to ensure the capabilities they build address both internal and regulatory requirements, and are responsive to the changing nature of portfolios, economic conditions, and emerging risks. In executing their activities, GRA and EIT drive innovation, process improvement and automation. Role Overview The CFO Risk & Data Quality Testing Senior Data Architect is accountable for facilitating and guiding the Domain/Product Data Testing team in adopting and implementing the Scrum framework, removing impediments, promoting collaboration and ensuring adherence to set milestones, tool management (JIRA) and reporting. This role requires partnering effectively with Global Compliance Operational Risk (GCOR), as well as various teams within GRA/EIT who provide operational, data sourcing, and technology infrastructure support. The CFO Risk & Data Quality Testing Senior Data Architect collaborates with process owners in the Front Line Units and Control Functions (FLUs/CFs) and Data/Technology partners to understand their processes, identify risks to successful execution, and prioritize/plan for the development of methodologies (e.g., models, analytical tools, and testing scripts) used to evaluate the effectiveness of processes and controls, data accuracy, and adherence to applicable Laws/Rules/Regulations, policies, and procedures. The role requires critical thinking and willingness to dig into the details of both existing and new methodologies to ensure they are fit for purpose. The candidate must be a strong communicator and able to effectively explain the rationale and details of the methodologies to a broad set of audiences that include key senior stakeholders across the Bank, as well as auditors and regulators.
