About The Position

Report production: Build and maintain highly detailed Business Intelligence reports in Cognos. Produce monthly and periodic reports on designated Cybersecurity programs and on any assigned topics. Work with the Cybersecurity program owners, gather Cybersecurity risk data from them, process the data as needed and produce IS reports and metrics. Maintain the reports as needed. Analyst needs to have a keen eye for the numbers, be able to self-QC his /her own reports and data, be able to present the data in clear and concise way. Perform Quality Control checks on others' reports for both formatting and data issues. Perform data analysis using, database tools (SQL), Excel, and Access. Design and document Business Requirements supporting automation of data feeds from upstream applications to the Cybersecurity reporting application. In Cybersecurity Risk Assessment Reporting & Analysis our mission is to: To provide a platform to define and measure Cybersecurity risk, process, threat and operational indicators. To provide Monthly Cybersecurity Reports and ad-hoc reports to stakeholders. To provide Cybersecurity Metrics and interactive Analytics in near real-time via the online Cybersecurity Business View application to stakeholders and practitioners. To provide details of Cybersecurity issues to the Information Security practitioners. To manage enhancements and changes in the Cybersecurity Reports and Cybersecurity Business View in collaboration with Program Owners. To maintain historic Cybersecurity Risk data. The reports and data analysis artifacts must be presented to stakeholders in clear and easily understood format in Excel, PowerPoint, Word or PDF documents. Work on Cybersecurity Metrics related projects Work on assigned projects which generally involve the above areas. Be proficient in crafting data sets needed to support interactive analytics Understand the concepts of ETL (extraction, transform, and load) Must be able to produce precise and well-crafted reports, familiarity with SQL, and databases Understand general Information Security and understand Info Sec metrics in particular Should be able to work independently and also in a team environment Be able to multi-task Be able to pay attention to details Be proficient in Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word Have a working understanding of databases, tables, and data design concepts Have good presentation skills and produce precise and well-crafted reports Be able to automate one's tasks for expediency Be able to work with structured and unstructured data and be able to answer questions about the data Be able to analyze and present the data from different angles Be able to put Excel and Access to use in the analysis be able to construct queries and manipulate the data when necessary Must be able to perform simple macro writing and VBA programming Design and build reports on Cognos platform Design and build interactive analytics dashboards on Cognos platform Be proficient in creating, modifying and generating reports Knowledge of other Business Intelligence (BI) platforms is a plus Crisp and clear written communication style Crisp and clear verbal communication skills Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills to senior management and business users Customer-oriented, resourceful and enthusiastic. 5+ years of Reporting area experience is a must.
Undergraduate degree required; Masters in Data Sciences preferred.
