About The Position

Ceribell is a medical technology company focused on transforming the diagnosis and management of patients with serious neurological conditions. The Ceribell System is a novel, point-of-care electroencephalography (“EEG”) platform specifically designed to address the unmet needs of patients in the acute care setting, and is being used in hundreds of community hospitals, large academic facilities and major IDN's across the country. We are seeking a self-driven, highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst or Sr. Data Analyst who takes ownership of problems and proactively develops solutions. In this role, you will work directly with data from multiple systems and sources to support operational and commercial decision-making. You will be expected to ask thoughtful questions, challenge assumptions when appropriate, and recommend better ways to structure data, reporting, and analysis. You will build and maintain dashboards and reporting infrastructure, ensure data is reliable and actionable, and deliver insights that help teams make better decisions. This is a highly hands-on role requiring strong technical skills in SQL, Excel, and Power BI, along with the ability to understand business context and independently drive analytical work from problem definition through solution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, etc.)
  • 3–7 years of experience in a data analyst or similar hands-on data role
  • Strong experience working with incomplete, or disparate datasets
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data cleaning, formulas, pivot tables, analysis)
  • Strong experience writing queries using SQL
  • Experience building and maintaining dashboards in Power BI (or similar visualization tools)
  • Experience working with data from CRM, financial, or operational systems
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
  • Curious mindset and proactive approach to problem solving
  • Ability to improve and maintain reporting infrastructure independently
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Work with data from multiple sources, including structured and unstructured datasets
  • Clean, validate, and organize incomplete data to ensure usability and accuracy
  • Analyze financial, commercial, and operational data to identify trends and performance drivers
  • Develop and maintain datasets that support ongoing reporting and analysis
  • Ensure data consistency and integrity across reports and dashboards
  • Build, maintain, and enhance dashboards using Power BI, Excel, and SQL
  • Develop scalable and repeatable reporting processes for business stakeholders
  • Automate recurring reports to improve efficiency and reduce manual work
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide visibility into business performance
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into analytical solutions
  • Apply curiosity and critical thinking to help stakeholders refine questions and uncover insights
  • Develop strong contextual understanding of Ceribell’s commercial and operational model
  • Proactively recommend improvements to data structures, reporting processes, and analytical methodologies
  • Help establish best practices and scalable frameworks for reporting and analysis
  • Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Present insights through dashboards, reports, and presentations
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with commercial, operations, finance, and leadership teams
