Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis or analytics roles.
  • Strong experience with database technologies such as SQL, Oracle, MS SQL Server, Snowflake, and Databricks.
  • Proficiency in Python for data manipulation, automation, and visualization.
  • Deep understanding of risk adjustment business analytics (MA, ACA, MD) and risk models including HCC, RxHCC, HHS-HCC, and CDPS.
  • Ability to build, architect, and deliver robust internal and customer-facing reports.
  • Experience with BI and visualization tools such as SSRS, Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or Sigma.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize work, and navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage complex data workflows and analytics pipelines using tools such as SQL, dbt, Airflow, Snowflake, and Databricks.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights for risk adjustment coding and quality improvements.
  • Develop, test, and deploy reporting solutions to support internal stakeholders and external clients.
  • Automate recurring analyses to improve efficiency and scalability across multiple projects.
  • Run risk adjustment models for Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, or ACA programs to forecast patient risk scores and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define analysis methodologies, assumptions, and reporting requirements.
  • Mentor and guide junior analysts while ensuring high standards for data quality and operational accuracy.
