Requirements

  • Bachelors’ or Master’s degree.
  • 12+ years of experience in cybersecurity.
  • 5+ years of experience in an architectural role.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors’ or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity.
  • Strong knowledge of security frameworks (e.g., NIST, CIS, SABSA, TOGAF).
  • Expertise in cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP), network security, identity & access management, and secure software development.
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or SABSA are highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Experience with SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and vulnerability management platforms.
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Security architecture for a manufacturing organization (e.g. OT / ICS / IoT controls).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain enterprise security architecture frameworks aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Design secure systems, networks, and applications using industry best practices and zero-trust principles.
  • Lead threat modeling, risk assessments, and security design reviews for new and existing systems.
  • Define long-term cybersecurity architecture strategy and roadmap.
  • Serve as a technical advisor to executive leadership on emerging threats and technologies.
  • Mentor junior architects and engineers, fostering a culture of security-first thinking.
  • Work closely with infrastructure, cloud, DevOps, and application teams to embed security into all layers of technology.
  • Partner with compliance and legal teams to ensure alignment with standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, ISA 62443, and GDPR.
  • Evaluate and recommend security tools, platforms, and services.
  • Stay current with evolving threat landscapes, attack vectors, and mitigation techniques.
  • Drive adoption of automation and orchestration in security operations.
  • Lead Security Architecture Review Board.
  • Ensure architectural designs meet internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
  • Support audits, assessments, and incident response efforts with architectural insights.
  • Develop cybersecurity policies, frameworks, standards, baselines, and procedures.
