About The Position

Join a team dedicated to designing and producing armored combat and support vehicles. Responsibilities: Provide technical authority for Cyber Systems Engineering, ensuring an integrated, compliant, and balanced cyber design across vehicle platforms within cost, schedule, and performance constraints. Lead development and enforcement of system-level cyber requirements, including Performance and SWaP-CRaM (Space, Weight, Power, Cooling, Reliability, and Maintainability). Manage requirements allocation, interface definitions, architectures, and configuration changes across multidisciplinary engineering teams. Conduct and oversee system trade studies and structured design decisions, analyzing impacts to space, weight, power, cost, reliability, performance, and cybersecurity posture. Develop and manage system specifications, compliance documentation, and CDRLs to ensure contractual and regulatory adherence. Oversee verification planning and execution, including development, production, and field validation activities. Lead design integration troubleshooting and Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) activities across development, production, and modification programs. Support and coordinate with Design Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) for threat analysis, interface development, requirements decomposition, and compliance validation. Drive enterprise-wide adoption of cyber-physical engineering best practices, tools, and education to strengthen cybersecurity culture. Evaluate and assess emerging Cyber and C5ISR technologies for integration into next-generation vehicle platforms. Ensure compliance with NIST SP 800-37, NIST SP 800-53, and related federal cybersecurity frameworks. Develop and maintain System Security Plans (SSPs), POA&Ms, and related authorization documentation. Lead and participate in technical peer reviews and milestone assessments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related technical discipline (cybersecurity certifications and technical management credentials considered in lieu of degree).
  • Active Secret Clearance Required to start
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in systems engineering, cyber engineering, or military platform development.
  • Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) using Cameo Systems Modeler and SysML
  • Development and management of system-level cyber requirements
  • Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA)
  • Cyber Tabletop Exercises (CTTX)
  • Embedded systems cybersecurity (automotive and/or military platforms)
  • Cyber warfare concepts (offensive and defensive)
  • Interpretation and decomposition of higher-level customer requirements
  • Electrical Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) and electronic hardware troubleshooting
  • Software and computer science fundamentals
  • Cyber-physical system security architecture
  • NIST RMF (SP 800-37)
  • NIST SP 800-53 security controls
  • SSP and POA&M documentation development
  • Experience leading technical development teams
  • Ability to climb on/off and work in/around military vehicles
  • Must pass ASR (Anthropometric Size Requirement) testing for confined spaces
  • Ability to travel up to 15% (primarily domestic)
