In this role, you will lead the development and implementation of a product vision and strategy. You should have a background in Software Development or CNO, or Cyber tools. This position will support one of our Government clients in Columbia, MD.

Requirements

  • Min 12 years with a Bachelor's or 10 years with a Master's.
  • Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • Experience in the development of products and managing in a development environment.
  • Facilitate interactions among all stakeholders and actively engage them. Good with documentation; effectively communicates, both written and verbally, to the technical team, management, and the customer, the status of work, progress, plans, and potential problems and viable solutions in a timely and transparent manner.
  • Hands-on personality, take ownership, actively engage with team, constant engagement with key stakeholders; understand team needs, get them what they need.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills, along with experience with Agile methodologies and cloud services
  • Work with various stakeholders, including clients, senior management, and other teams, to gather feedback and shape product requirements.
  • This position requires an active TS/SCI with a polygraph. You must be a U.S. citizen for consideration.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop solutions to complex applications problems, system administration issues, or network concerns.
  • Perform systems management and integration functions.
  • Develop and own the product vision for network-sensing and security-visibility capabilities; you will be responsible for product strategy and Roadmap
  • Translate customer needs, regulatory demands, and threat-landscape insights into clear product requirements.
  • Prioritize features based on technical feasibility, business value, and stakeholder input.
  • Design and guide development of sensing capabilities that collect and analyze data from IAPs, routers, firewalls, OT gateways, and mixed IT/OT networks.
  • Ensure robust interoperability with multi-vendor network ecosystems and legacy OT systems.
  • Partner with engineering to evolve data-collection methods, including passive/active sensing and deep-packet visibility.
  • Define product requirements for SIEM integrations, log ingest pipelines, event correlation, and alerting workflows.
  • Collaborate closely with security operations teams to optimize detection rules, enrichment, and reporting.
  • Drive enhancements to data normalization schemas and threat intelligence utilization.
  • Network Mapping & Topology Awareness
  • Lead development of automated network-mapping features, including device fingerprinting, flow analysis, dependency visualization, and dynamic topology graphs.
  • Ensure high-fidelity asset discovery and real-time updates across IT and OT segments.
  • Oversee capabilities related to network-based intrusion detection, anomaly-detection models, and lateral-movement awareness.
  • Work with cybersecurity experts to refine detection logic and incorporate best practices for threat-hunting workflows.
