MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT As a Security Architect, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the client mission as you play a crucial role in developing secure architecture solutions protecting high profile client networks. As a Sr. Architect you will be actively involved in: The design, implementation, and deployment of various mission critical applications, non-relational databases, and analytics tools supporting core programs. Architecting new security infrastructure to support changes to datacenter, colocation and production environments. Designing and Implementing secure file sharing and cross domain solutions. Implementing security infrastructure upgrades. Provide secure architecture solutions for Virtual Desktop and Server Infrastructures Acting as advisor/SME for Client teams on security matters. Performing functional testing and validation of security products. Developing implementation and integration plans for security components such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and malware detection solutions. Utilizing previous technical experience to support other engineers of various levels of skill and expertise. Developing and presenting technical training and author whitepapers and technical/user/administrator guides for COTS and custom products. The Cybersecurity Analyst Sr Principal must have: ● Education: Bachelors degree in a technical discipline ● Experience: 10+ years of related experience ● Desired Technical skills: Experience with various Operating Systems (Linux/Windows/MacOS), various scripting languages (Python/Perl/Shell, etc); SEIM technologies (IBM Qradar, Splunk, or Elastic); on-prem and cloud implementations, IDS/IPS solutions; VMWare (ESXi, VMware vCenter, VMware VSAN, VMware View) ● Security clearance level: TS with SCI Eligibility ● US citizenship required ● Role requirements: Onsite presence required, with telework availability (approval required); limited CONUS travel. The likely salary range for this position is $178,500 - $241,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelors degree in a technical discipline
  • Experience: 10+ years of related experience
