About The Position

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) powers Oracle’s global cloud services through highly available, large-scale, enterprise-grade data center environments. The Data Center Infrastructure Operations / Facilities team plays a critical role in sustaining OCI’s performance, security, and operational resilience by ensuring infrastructure systems operate reliably at scale. As Senior Facility Manager, you are the accountable owner for day-to-day facility operations at an OCI data center site, ensuring safe, reliable, and compliant operation of mission-critical infrastructure operated by third parties. This role represents Oracle’s operational authority on site—driving execution discipline, vendor performance, landlord alignment, and incident readiness. You will serve as the primary interface between Oracle Cloud Infrastructure operations and landlords, facility service providers, and local authorities, ensuring sites meet Oracle standards for uptime, safety, security, and compliance in a 24x7 environment. Ideal Candidate Profile Technical / Industry Experience Experience managing or overseeing facilities operations in mission-critical environments, such as data centers, utilities, industrial plants, or large commercial facilities. Demonstrated experience working within NNN lease structures or third-party–operated facilities, with strong vendor and landlord management capability. Hands-on involvement in commissioning and operational readiness for new or expanded facilities. Strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and controls systems supporting critical environments (power distribution, cooling, life safety, BMS). Experience supporting incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement efforts. Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day facility operations oversight for assigned NNN leased data center sites, including preventive maintenance execution, incident response coordination, environmental monitoring, and asset lifecycle management.
  • Act as Oracle’s primary operational point of contact for landlords and third-party facility operators, enforcing lease requirements, service level agreements (SLAs), and performance expectations.
  • Partner with commissioning, construction, and engineering teams to support new site turn-up, expansions, and system handover into steady-state operations.
  • Coordinate and participate in incident response, serving as site escalation lead; support root cause analysis and ensure corrective actions are tracked to closure.
  • Ensure compliance with Oracle standards and applicable regulatory requirements, including safety, environmental, and operational controls.
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation to support certifications and reviews (e.g., SOC 2, ISO, AHJ requirements).
  • Track operational KPIs, vendor performance metrics, and maintenance outcomes; identify risks and improvement opportunities.
  • Support capacity planning, budgeting inputs, and risk mitigation activities for assigned sites.
  • Build strong working relationships with local authorities, utilities, and community stakeholders as required to support transparent and compliant operations.
  • Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and operational rigor among on-site vendors and partners.

  • Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment.
