About The Position

Glanbia Performance Nutrition (GPN) is the Global leader in Sports Nutrition. The Performance Nutrition division has acquired and/or developed an impressive portfolio of brands, including Optimum Nutrition, BSN, Amazing Grass, Think!, and Isopure. We are seeking a dynamic Senior Manager to join our Customer Planning & Strategy team. This position will be responsible for the execution of our Americas Business Unit Customer Planning & Strategy strategies for Isopure and into the joint business plans of all customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelors/University degree in Business Administration, MBA Preferred
  • 8+ years sales, brand, channel/trade marketing, customer planning and customer strategy experience in North America.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing projects in a matrixed environment within CPG; direct customer sales is an asset
  • Exposure to multiple retail classes of trade – E-commerce, Mass, Club, Grocery, Specialty/Department, Dollar, Drug
  • Ability to influence without authority and communicate effectively across teams
  • Strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and attention to detail; experience with syndicated data tools (NIQ, SPINS, Tableau) and MS Office

Responsibilities

  • Primary liaison between assigned brand team and customer teams, ensuring alignment on sales strategy and execution
  • Actively support customer sales teams in achieving sales and profit goals through data-driven insights, strategic planning, and executional excellence
  • Influence creation of and lead commercialization of brand plans across channels; including assortment, display, pricing, promotion, and shelving
  • Guide customer-specific product initiatives (e.g., exclusive items, displays) through the stage gate process
  • Develop and maintain sales tools and presentation materials for internal and external use, inclusive of customer presentations, line reviews and innovation sell in
  • Represent brand strategy to sales teams and to customers during sell-in meetings
  • Support execution of shopper marketing programs that align with brand strategies and drive in-store impact
  • Build and leverage strong relationships with cross functional counterparts including customer account teams, trade development, marketing and finance
  • Drive understanding of our assortment, display, price/promotion and shelving principles by category, channel and customer across the organization to influence strategic initiatives
  • Subject matter expert on customer resets and customer calendars of retail events
