About The Position
The Process Engineering Lead is responsible for manufacturing improvements, implementing process stability initiatives, identifying and solving process related problems, providing knowledge and support to the plants, and implementing productivity gains that align with the goals of the Roofing business. This requires the use of process & engineering skills and resources to achieve and sustain process stability. This can include planning and implementing the engineering aspects of process related projects and minor capital projects. The main responsibility of the Process Engineering Lead is to collaborate with operations teams and the RMDC (remote monitoring diagnostic center) team to improve and sustain stability of roofing manufacturing through increasing material efficiency, increasing machine uptime, and increasing process stability. The successful candidate will work with plant operations teams to eliminate waste and improve safety, quality and productivity. The candidate collaborates with roofing operations (the customer) to improve the process. The role will contribute to the operation team's efforts to foster a proactive culture that ensures a quality product is being manufactured to exceed customer expectations.
