T-Mobile’s Policy Strategy & Analytics team is looking for a sharp, strategic, and business-minded attorney to join as Senior Corporate Counsel. This role supports T-Mobile’s engagement on wireless and emerging technology policy before federal and state policymakers. You’ll help shape the company’s positions on a wide range of issues to enhance the success of our frontline government advocates. This is a strategy position focused on policy analysis, long-term positioning, and the creation of winning campaigns. What you’ll do in your role. Serve as a strategy leader on wireless policy issues (e.g., convergence and competition, spectrum auctions), as well as emerging services (e.g., satellite direct-to-device, AI). Develop proactive and forward-looking advocacy positions based on a deep understanding of company priorities. Maintain insight into the priorities of policymakers, industry participants, and other stakeholders to anticipate emerging risks and opportunities. Combine strategy with a practical sense of what’s possible, to ensure advocacy is most likely to yield successes. Coordinate law firms, consultants, and allies to execute winning policy campaigns. Develop and lead strategic alliances to drive advocacy initiatives, both internally and externally. The experience you’ll bring. Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and admission to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction. 7-10 years of legal and public policy experience, preferably with substantial experience in federal telecommunications policy. Proven aptitude for navigating complex political dynamics and strong political acumen. Proficiency explaining complex or technical issues to generalist audiences. Familiarity with emerging issues in data privacy, AI, and digital platform regulation as they relate to communications networks. Excellent communication, analytical, writing, research, and presentation skills. Established record of cultivating cross-sector partnerships and building coalitions. Ability to participate in cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.
