About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Corporate Senior Accountant to join our dynamic accounting team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of accounting principles, particularly in relation to treasury compliance, and will be responsible for debt and compliance reporting. This role requires a proactive individual who can effectively communicate across all levels of the organization and partner cross-functionally to drive various transactions and projects. The Corporate Senior Accountant will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting a strong internal control environment, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in Corporate or Public Accounting.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Experience in HFM, OneStream, or Oracle EPM.

Responsibilities

  • Treasury Support: Review and analyze compliance and covenant reporting as related to debt and treasury accounting support Manage accounting for treasury activities, and compliance reporting.
  • Financial Records and Analysis: Have a strong experience in reporting tools like HFM, OneStream, or EPM or other consolidations tools. Maintain and analyze financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Manage complex accounts such as borrowing base, intercompany transactions, debt accounting, and accruals. Understand borrowing base accounting and reporting. Partner with various groups to apply US GAAP and properly record journal entries. Prepare various accounting memos for unique transactions (for example, financing transactions or acquisitions), goodwill impairment analysis, intangibles analysis, other areas as needed in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Internal Communication and Cross-Functional Partnership: Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization to provide insights and updates on financial performance and accounting issues. Partner cross-functionally with various departments to support transactions and special projects.
  • Internal Controls and Compliance: Support and enhance a robust internal control environment to safeguard company assets. Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
  • Account Reconciliations: Prepare and analyze account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.
