About The Position

The Sr. Copywriter is a masterful storyteller on Under Armour’s Global Brand Creative Team who is motivated and energized by the power of sport. The Sr. Copywriter’s creative work needs to carry the passion of the world’s greatest athletes—from this generation and the next—and the power to help inspire the very best in human performance. The Sr. Copywriter is obsessed with athletes, attitude, authenticity, and all things digital, at every customer touchpoint. This versatile storyteller is also driven and unrelenting in the face of the challenges that balancing big projects and tight deadlines bring.

Requirements

• Ability to think strategically, manage many tasks at once, and deliver high-quality output every time, on time.
• Requires samples of work submitted with resume and salary history.
• Excellent verbal, written, communication, and presentation skills.
• Excellent organization and collaboration skills.
• Microsoft Office and Mac platform proficiency.
• Strong fundamental writing skills and demonstrated creative capabilities.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Minimum of 4-7 years of communications and/or writing/content development experience.
• Experience writing copy across retail required.

Responsibilities

• Develop on-brand copy for product stories across all Global Retail.
• Meet with partners to align on marketing/creative strategy.
• Collaborate with creative and cross-functional partners.
• Support senior leaders and Global Retail by writing content to support Style Guide deliverables.
• Write copy that is the best expression of UA’s brand voice across all marketing and advertising content.
• Attract, engage, and convert the target demographic, the Focused Performer.
• Partner with designers and directors to develop transformative storytelling executions and experiences.
