POSITION SUMMARY: PBSd is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sr. Coordinator, International Program Sales to support the International Program Sales Team and manage the day-to-day operational relationship with an international sub-distributor covering several territories. This role plays a key part in ensuring efficient sales execution, accurate rights management, and strong partner coordination across global markets. The ideal candidate has a strong interest in international media distribution, thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, and brings operational rigor to support revenue growth while upholding PBS’s public service mission.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in sales coordination, media distribution, sales operations, or a related field
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Media Studies or similar major or equivalent experience
  • Excellent organizational and attention to detail skills
  • Ability to manage multiple territories, timelines, and priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Familiarity with contracts, rights data, and financial reporting processes strongly preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with an international sales team strongly preferred
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM), rights or distribution systems a plus
  • Experience working across international time zones preferred

Responsibilities

  • Sub-Distributor Relationship Management (50%) Serve as the primary day-to-day operational contact for international sub-distributors representing PBSd in several territories.
  • Coordinate title availability, rights windows, and territory-specific restrictions.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of content materials, marketing assets, and contract requirements.
  • Track sales activity, royalty statements, and territory-level performance reporting.
  • Ensure timely receipt, review, and reconciliation of sub-distributor reports and documentation.
  • Identify issues, risks, or opportunities and escalate to international sales leadership as needed.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • International Sales Team Support (25%) Provide operational and administrative support to the International Program Sales team, including:
  • Preparing and maintaining international availability lists, pricing grids, and sales materials.
  • Tracking deal status, contract execution, and delivery timelines across multiple territories.
  • Maintaining accurate records in internal sales, rights, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
  • Assist with international sales forecasting, revenue tracking, and performance reporting.
  • Coordinate internal approvals and cross-functional workflows with Legal, Finance, Rights, and Content Operations Teams.
  • Support preparation for international markets and events, such as MIPCOM, MIPTV, NATPE, EFM), including pre-market planning and post-market follow-up.
  • International Operations & Rights Coordination (25%) Support accurate rights tracking and territory management across international deals.
  • Assist with invoicing coordination, payment tracking, and royalty workflows in partnership with finance.
  • Help ensure compliance with contractual terms, delivery obligations, and reporting standards.
  • Contribute to process improvements to streamline international sales operations and reporting
