About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Controls Engineer with extensive experience in Rockwell FactoryTalk products, including PLCs, HMI, Batch, VFD, Servos, Instrumentation, Packaging Robotics, and dairy processing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems to optimize manufacturing processes and ensure efficient operation.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelors in Electrical, Automation, or related Engineering field.
• Experience: 5+ years in controls engineering with Rockwell FactoryTalk.
• Experience with Studio 5000 (CompactLogix, ControlLogix) RXlogix 500 and RXlogix 500, CCW (For VFD and some small PLC), FactoryTalk Design Studio HMI software, Kinetix 5100 Using motion control PLC for the program, Kinetix 300, Fanuc Robot.
• Programming Terms: Ladder Logic, Structured Text, Sequential Function, Function Blocks.
• Experience with PLC & HMI programming.
• Experience with Batch processing, VFDs, servos, and robotics.
• CAD/AutoCAD, MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Project management and leadership skills.
• Industry Knowledge: Dairy processing and packaging robotics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design & Program control systems using Rockwell PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, servos, and instrumentation.
• Lead Projects from concept to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
• Integrate Systems for seamless operation across automation equipment.
• Troubleshoot & Resolve control system issues quickly and effectively.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and maintenance teams.
• Document all systems, including schematics and procedures.
• Ensure Compliance with safety, food quality, and industry standards.
• Innovate by developing new solutions and improving existing systems.
• Estimate Costs and specify components for new projects.
• Support R&D by designing and testing custom machinery.
• Promote Safety and maintain a clean, compliant work environment.
• Drive Continuous Improvement in processes and systems.
