In this role, you will play a key part in shaping innovative programs by managing and negotiating contracts that directly support some of the most advanced aircraft in the world. You will be the trusted advisor for contract lifecycle management-from strategy development to negotiation and closeout-while collaborating with cross-functional partners and influencing high-level business outcomes.

  • Lead contract lifecycle management from proposal through negotiation, execution, administration, and closeout.
  • Develop and execute negotiation strategies that balance customer needs with company objectives.
  • Prepare, submit, and defend contract proposals while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide strategic guidance and oversight to team members on policies, regulations, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (program management, finance, engineering, estimating & pricing, procurement) to ensure contract requirements are met.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to foster trust and alignment.
  • Analyze, interpret, and resolve complex contract issues by developing innovative and compliant solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and corporate policies.
  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Business, or related discipline.
  • Contract life cycle experience including generating and submitting proposals, negotiating with customers or suppliers, contract administration, and closeout.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a secret level security clearance.
  • Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS).
  • Experience working independently and in a team situation.
  • Strong familiarity with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARs).
  • Experience with multiple contract types and proposals, such as FFP, FPIF, CPIF, CPAF, CPFF & T&M.
  • Experience multi-tasking and working several assignments concurrently.
  • Exceptional and effective communication skills; both written and verbal.
  • Experience with subcontracting, international contracting, or commercial contracting.
  • Experience working with CRADAs, OTAs, and other non-traditional contract and agreement types.
  • Experience dealing with customers and internal program teams, including upper management.
  • Experienced working in classified program environments.
  • Active Secret or TS Clearance.
