The company is seeking a Sr. Contracts Administrator to plan, develop, manage the preparation, negotiation, execution, and close-out activities of all government and/or commercial contracts and/or subcontracts across two facility locations in Hunt Valley and Sparks, Maryland. This role serves as the Company’s primary contractual interface with customers and is responsible for end-to-end contract lifecycle management, from proposal development through close-out, ensuring contract acquisition and execution comply with company policies, legal requirements, and customer obligations.

Requirements

  • BS degree in Business Administration, Contracts Administration, Policy, or related field
  • Ten (10+) years of related contracting administration experience
  • Ability to operate independently, using technical and professional experience and knowledge in all areas of contract administration
  • Experience with various contract types (Cost/FFP), have strong working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, related supplements and TINA
  • Must be able to obtain a Security Clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Deltek Costpoint is desirable
  • Experience with Small Business reporting is desirable

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, negotiate, and administer government and commercial contracts and related agreements
  • Participate in proposal support activities, including contract terms review, compliance assessments, and cost proposal coordination
  • Review and approve contractual documents to ensure protection of the Company’s contractual posture and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
  • Conduct risk assessments of contract terms and conditions and develop mitigation strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Advise management on contractual rights, obligations, and interpretations of terms and conditions
  • Establish and communicate contractual requirements internally to program management and functional stakeholders
  • Interface with program managers and functional leads to monitor contract performance and resolve contractual issues
  • Negotiate and administer commercial sales channel agreements and manage agreement lifecycle activities
  • Support compliance and reporting requirements
  • Prepare and submit Small Business reporting requirements
  • Identify opportunities and/or participate in continuous improvement activities
  • Prepare and present contract‑related analyses, recommendations, and briefings to senior management
  • Interface with senior customer representatives to respond to inquiries, conduct fact‑finding discussions, and resolve contractual matters
