About The Position

At Netgain, we hire accountants at the top of their game. We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Consultant with at least 1 year of accounting experience, preferably with the Big 4, or at least two years of project management experience, to join our team. This role leverages an even blend of accounting knowledge and financial systems expertise to help clients automate key accounting and compliance processes. Your day-to-day activities will be non-routine and complex, providing you with a chance to be fully engaged in rewarding work with finance and accounting leadership across a multitude of companies. Qualifications

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required; Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
Minimum of one year Big 4 experience, or two plus years of project management experience, preferred
Understanding of financial systems and logical structuring
Strong analytical, logic, and communication skills, with good attention to detail
Initiative, creativity, and a passion to deliver results that make a difference
Curiosity with an analytical approach to problem-solving

Nice To Haves

Master’s in Accounting and/or CPA preferred

Responsibilities

Act as the “face” of Netgain, as the primary customer contact throughout the customer’s implementation and ambassador for our products and values
Provide accounting, finance, and system advisory consulting to customers
Ensure seamless implementation, go-live, and early adoption of Netgain products/solutions for customers
Independently lead multiple projects concurrently, utilizing experience, knowledge, and education to facilitate problem-solving as appropriate
Interact with external partners/3rd party implementors when necessary to ensure Netgain products are delivered on schedule
Manage the day-to-day project execution, including technical design/setup, deployment, communications, and documentation/training materials
Empower clients to make informed decisions by providing expert guidance on setup/technical design considerations to best utilize their Netgain product(s)
Serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, offering comprehensive solutions, direction, and expertise for the products we are implementing
Mentor and develop fellow team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth
Collaborate with/provide feedback to the leadership team to help develop and facilitate process improvements
Tackle complex technical accounting challenges
Provide product-specific support for customer inquiries on technical challenges
Build out and deliver customer training materials and tutorials
Contribute to ever-growing knowledge base of support materials for Netgain products
Partner with Netgain product teams to identify and implement product enhancements
