We’re hiring a Senior Consultant, Third Party Risk Management in Columbus, OH (hybrid, 2 days in office). In this role, you’ll play a key part in advancing our supplier risk strategy across the full third‑party lifecycle, from due diligence through ongoing monitoring and periodic reassessment. You’ll design and strengthen governance frameworks, enhance compliance practices, deliver actionable reporting, and collaborate across sourcing, legal, cyber, and business teams to evaluate and manage third‑party risk—shaping high‑impact decisions that safeguard operations and enable growth. We’re looking for a professional with proven experience leading third‑party risk programs, developing contract‑risk evaluation methods (including deviation tracking and clear escalation paths), and translating frameworks into actionable controls supported by strong analytics and executive‑ready insights. Ideal candidates have hands‑on experience operationalizing supply‑chain controls through contract language and SLAs, applying SOC 2 or similar evidence-based reviews within supplier assessments, partnering effectively during regulatory/audit engagements, and working in common GRC/contract‑lifecycle toolsets. Provides ongoing consultation involving high complexity projects in the areas of risk management, risk modeling, analysis, insights, and reporting. Serve as advisor/partner to the Procurement teams and the business to enable risk mitigation strategies. Serves as a subject matter expert for Enterprise Supplier Risk Management (ESRM) Policy, associated processes and related initiatives.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree with studies in finance, accounting, procurement, or supply chain management is preferred.
  • Typically 10 or more years of business experience in risk assessment, risk assurance, or supplier risk management; or equivalent professional experience closely related.
  • Highly specialized knowledge of risk management or supply chain management.
  • Strong analytical skills to resolve highly complex risk management problems.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Technical expertise to analyze and synthesize data for reporting purposes.
  • Ability to execute activities associated with the implementation of risk management processes.
  • Dynamic individual with demonstrated interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, including presentation and training skills.
  • Ability to display confidence and establish credibility.
  • Advanced project management, analytical, and business acumen skills.
  • Process improvement mentality.
  • Skills in mathematical, financial or statistical concepts to support various aspects of planning and analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the development, implementation, and administration of the ESRM program and governance processes, including procedures, analysis, and coordinating supplier risk efforts with internal partners.
  • Monitors and reports on supplier risks at the supplier, risk type, and aggregate levels.
  • Supports the implementation and maintenance of supplier risk information and reporting, including defining standard supplier risk metrics/measures, trend analysis, and developing reporting and analysis standards and requirements.
  • Reviews and analyzes internal data in relation, and in comparison, to business strategies, market research, and other external benchmarking to provide strategic insight, consideration of opportunities, and alignment of the supplier risk framework to the enterprise goals.
  • Supports due diligence activities associated with identified supplier risk and tracks ongoing monitoring efforts in alignment with the framework.
  • Supports implementation efforts including documentation, training, and communications.
  • Reviews and recommends revisions to the framework with risk assurance partners and senior management input.
  • Monitors framework is in use and effectively adopted.
  • Assist efforts related to discovery and response to regulatory and external requests.
  • Guide business unit partners in understanding and responding to risk audits and assessments.
  • May performs other responsibilities as assigned.
