The achievers and courageous challenge-crushers we seek, have the following characteristics and skills The Consultant will support Quest Global in strengthening organizational and technical excellence within the Static Equipment domain. This role involves building capabilities, solving engineering challenges, and enhancing knowledge assets through structured documentation and best‑practice development.

Requirements

  • Strong expertise in Static Equipment (pressure vessels, heat exchangers, columns, tanks, etc.) including design, analysis, troubleshooting, and compliance with relevant codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API, TEMA).
  • Ability to solve complex engineering problems using deep domain knowledge, analytical tools, and industry‑accepted methodologies.
  • Knowledge of engineering best practices and work processes specific to Oil & Gas, Energy, or Process industries.
  • Experience in documenting engineering processes, developing SOPs, guidelines, and best‑practice manuals.
  • Capability development experience, including mentoring, training, or guiding engineers to build organizational competence.
  • Strong stakeholder communication to work with global teams, clients, and leaders effectively.
  • Ability to work independently as a consultant, managing tasks, deliverables, and timelines without supervision.
  • Understanding of confidentiality, IP obligations, and conflict‑of‑interest boundaries as required in consulting agreements.
  • Problem‑solving mindset with structured thinking and analytical capability.
  • High attention to detail in documentation and technical reviews.
  • Professionalism and ethical conduct, aligned with Quest Global’s standards.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to work part‑time, remotely, and handle varied assignments

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with reliability, maintenance, and integrity management of static equipment (desirable but not mandatory).

Responsibilities

  • Develop organizational and technical capabilities by contributing expertise, guiding engineering practices, and helping build competency within the Static Equipment discipline.
  • Analyze and solve complex engineering problems related to Static Equipment, providing high‑quality technical solutions aligned with industry standards and client expectations.
  • Document work processes and industry best practices, creating clear, well‑structured materials that support knowledge sharing, training, and continuous improvement efforts.
