About The Position

The Senior Construction Manager is responsible for leading and executing wireless construction projects across multiple markets. This role oversees end‑to-end site deployment activities, ensures safety and quality compliance, manages contractor performance, and drives on‑time, on‑budget delivery. The Sr. CM provides strategic guidance, removes roadblocks, and partners closely with internal teams, customer counterparts, and external suppliers to meet program goals.

Requirements

  • 5-7+ years of wireless construction or telecom deployment experience.
  • Strong knowledge of wireless construction standards, safety requirements, and quality practices.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and vendor‑management skills.
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings, RFDS
  • Proficiency with project management tools, site tracking systems, and Microsoft applications.
  • Experience delivering large‑scale deployment programs for major carriers.
  • Familiarity with Ericsson equipment and installation standards.
  • OSHA 30

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all construction activities for wireless site deployments from pre‑construction through closeout.
  • Oversee construction partners, ensuring adherence to Ericsson standards, safety requirements, quality guidelines, and project timelines.
  • Review site designs, scopes of work, and construction documentation to ensure accuracy and readiness for build.
  • Monitor schedule performance, identify risks, and drive recovery plans to maintain production targets.
  • Manage budget considerations, validate change orders, and drive cost control across assigned projects.
  • Conduct site reviews, audits, and quality checks to ensure compliance and installation excellence.
  • Coordinate with cross‑functional teams, including Engineering, Real Estate, Supply Chain, and Customer teams.
  • Provide clear reporting, progress tracking, and updates to leadership and customer partners.
  • Mentor and support Offshore teams and Construction Managers and suppliers to strengthen program performance.

  • New employees are provided a minimum of 15 days of accrued vacation, up to 3 personal days per year, 11 annual holidays, 8 hours of volunteer time, and 80 hours of sick time annually. Please note paid time off is pro-rated based on the employee's start date. Furthermore, Ericsson provides up to 16 weeks of paid maternity leave and 6 weeks of parental or adoption leave at 100% of pay.
