CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Construction Administration Architect to join our Buildings Team in Albany or Syracuse, NY and help deliver innovative, sustainable, and integrated building designs. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture required; Master’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 15 years of professional architectural experience required
  • Registered Architect license required; LEED accreditation preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Revit, and/or AutoCAD required; knowledge of Photoshop and SketchUp preferred
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and graphic communication skills
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and time management abilities
  • Familiarity with QA/QC procedures and business practices related to architecture

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree preferred
  • LEED accreditation preferred
  • knowledge of Photoshop and SketchUp preferred

Responsibilities

  • Serve as CHA’s primary point of contact during construction administration including overseeing customary management of RFIs, PCOs, submittals, and other CA activities
  • Lead the design and delivery of projects from planning to completion, ensuring compliance with government regulations, zoning codes, and industry standards
  • Demonstrate creativity, foresight, and sound architectural judgment in solving design challenges and advancing project goals
  • Manage all aspects of client relations, attending regular meetings and serving as a trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle
  • Mentor and coordinate junior staff and project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence
  • Travel as needed to project sites and client meetings, supporting successful project execution
