With equal opportunities, and excellent job benefits, we are seeking a creative Sr. Configuration Analyst with outstanding interpersonal skills to provide solutions to support our business partners. The focus of this position is to work closely with the business units to gain in-depth understanding of their strategy, processes, services, roadmap, and the context in which the business operates. This role will be key to understanding and detailing the capabilities needed to address business challenges through proposed solutions in the area of Supply Chain Planning. The Sr. Configuration Analyst is also responsible for reviewing assigned business requirements to find opportunities to improve efficiency. The candidate will provide short term and long-term solutions enabling the business to thrive in reaching their business goals. In addition, the candidate will manage the product backlog, prioritize deliverables with the business and work with the software provider and/or system integrator to design, build and deploy solutions. This role will be hybrid in Rhode Island/Boston 3 days a week in the office. We expect from the candidate the following capabilities: Demonstrate up-to-date expertise in Information Systems and apply it to the development, execution and improvement of action plans. Team up with business to learn their processes, gather requirements, partner with the software provider and/or system integrator to provide solutions to current challenges, and help drive value. Identify improvement opportunities, review product backlog, assess business process and system inefficiencies, and provide timeline for deliverables. Support and align efforts and resources to meet business needs. Deliver incremental enhancements and participate in projects by completing and updating documentation; managing scope; setting daily priorities; ensuring efficient and on-time delivery of tasks and milestones; and following proper critical issue resolution paths. A day in the life as a Senior Configuration Analyst: Analyze and synthesize business requirements, including recognizing patterns and conceptualizing processes. Understand and negotiate needs and expectations of multiple business owners in the context of a SaaS delivery model. Identify, create, and facilitate process design changes by conducting business and systems process analysis and design; focusing on quality improvement and data management; ensuring data is reliable and valid; developing process improvements; integrating new systems and processes with existing ones; and partnering with internal and external customers to ensure systems provided support the long-term business strategies. Provide and support the implementation of business solutions by; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes and new responsibilities. Stay abreast with business needs and strategies; utilizing formal and informal written communication methods to communicate updates and findings; and facilitating project meetings and presentations to all types of audiences. Provide project level analysis – producing required project analysis documentation (business requirements, scope matrix, use cases, sequence diagrams, future state proposals, UAT plan, etc). Collaborate with software provider developers to implement the requirements, provide needed mentorship to testers during the QA process.
