About The Position

In the role of Sr Compliance and Rates Analyst working in Milwaukee, WI. This job is responsible for supporting development and implementation of transportation strategy execution by taking accountability for the integration and alignment with customer service, breweries, distribution centers, transportation providers, quality and distributors. Assist in providing management, strategic and tactical direction for 3rd Party Logistics providers for transportation planning and execution across the network. Accountable for development of standard operating procedures, audit compliance of rate contracts, and payment discrepancy resolution. Lead continuous improvement to drive cost savings and efficiencies. This role reports to the Team Lead-Compliance and Rates.

Requirements

  • 3-5 Years Freight industry, supply management experience preferably in the beverage industry and/or consumer products.
  • Either possess a bachelor’s degree or MBA in Supply Chain Management of Business or have relevant experience.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Self-starter and goal-oriented problem-solver
  • Solution-oriented with the goal of driving efficiencies and process improvements
  • You love a challenge; you complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for ensuring all carrier main and mini bids have been reviewed, audited, and communicated to the respective groups.
  • This includes the auditing of carrier contracts and rates entered into TMS and working with SLI (third party audit company) and Procurement to resolve errors.
  • Integral position in delivering against CSC’s cost savings targets
  • Ensure process consistency between Milwaukee and Bucharest Compliance and Rates teams; liaison between Load Control, Reverse Logistics, overall Supply Chain and GBS to execute transportation management strategies; support onboarding for new hires.
  • Showcases leadership of external business partners by owning relationship with both non-alc and the largest carrier in the network, using them to pilot process improvements before rolling out solutions to the entire carrier network; demonstrating the ability to drive change and influence others in support of the organization's goals and objectives for the 3rd party payment system Data2 Logistics (including partnering with Finance, Supply Chain, IT, and others).
