About The Position

PacifiCorp is seeking customer-centric candidates to grow and sustain our commitment to a culture of customer service excellence, environmental sustainability, inclusion & belonging. The position assists in the execution of PacifiCorp's companywide FERC/NERC/WECC Reliability Standard regulatory compliance program, including the continual development, implementation, coordination and maintenance of related compliance activities, as well as the documentation and development of PacifiCorp evidence packages.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or the equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • A minimum of five years professional experience.
  • Knowledge of regulatory rules, policies, procedures and practices.
  • Project management, analysis, assessment and investigation skills to determine recommendations or plans of action.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to consult and resolve internal or external compliance issues which may be sensitive in nature.
  • Ability to work with all levels of an organization including people with different styles and backgrounds; ability to work as a member of a team and ability to present alternatives and recommendations.
  • Proficient with the use of personal computers including spreadsheet, database, word processing, and presentation applications.

Responsibilities

  • Perform day-to-day execution of all aspects of PacifiCorp's companywide regulatory compliance program to help ensure compliance with applicable FERC/NERC/WECC Reliability Standards regulatory requirements, including critical infrastructure protection standard requirements.
  • Facilitate the development and/or update of the annual review packages that demonstrate PacifiCorp's compliance with each of the Reliability Standards.
  • Coordinate with general counsel, compliance and NERC, to determine NERC/CIPS compliance and implementation parameters and goals.
  • Act as a liaison between PacifiCorp and neighboring utilities with regard to the NERC Critical Infrastructure Protection Standards.
  • Support CIPS standard owners in developing/providing compliance documentation.
  • Ensure that deliverables are completed in accordance to the PacifiCorp Project Governance and Standards and provide compliance with the NERC Reliability Standards.
  • Implement all programs, procedures and policies set forth by business units to facilitate compliance including, change control, configuration management, asset management, and security testing procedures.
  • Recommend project plans, timelines, and budgets to management, and monitor progress against approved plans.
  • Provide strategic direction in developing, implementing and evaluating project plans, goals and timelines.
  • Develop effective communication and implementation plans to ensure that deliverables from significant programs and initiatives are sustainable within the organization.
  • Collaborate with plant and field personnel and other staff to provide input and technical services in the development and execution of CIPS related projects.
  • Coordinate with companywide business units to develop/support activities needed to address any identified compliance deficiencies and the successful completion of the Reliability Standards evidence packages.
  • Facilitate progress on all compliance related activities, including mitigation plan development and documentation of completion.
