The Senior Manager, Compensation at Booking Holdings (BHI) will serve as a strategic partner within the Compensation team, leading the evolution of best-in-class global policies and processes. This role is responsible for the strategic design and oversight of compensation programs, managing a team to provide expert-level advisory to senior business leaders. You will lead the long-term roadmap for compensation architecture, ensuring absolute alignment between total rewards, business goals, and the mission to make it easier for everyone to experience the world. In this role you will get to: Strategic Leadership: Lead and mentor a team to deliver sophisticated compensation strategies for diverse client groups across the US and international markets. Architecture & Evaluation: Oversee the global career level hierarchy and job evaluation framework, utilizing Mercer’s IPE tool to ensure internal equity and market competitiveness. Senior Advisory: Act as a high-level consultant to HR Business Partners and Senior Leadership on complex compensation issues and executive-level offers. Process Transformation: Drive the continuous improvement of the annual compensation planning cycle in Workday, shifting from execution to strategic optimization. Financial Stewardship: Direct the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting for base pay, bonus, and equity, providing high-level insights to Finance and Brand leadership. Market Intelligence: Lead the market pricing strategy to establish robust global salary structures and provide data-driven recommendations for large-scale merit and promotional budgets. Global Project Management: Initiate and lead high-impact, cross-brand projects and global compliance initiatives, partnering with Centers of Excellence (COE) in Romania and India to ensure seamless execution. What you have: At least 8 years of progressive Compensation experience, with a proven track record in a global, public company environment Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks with competing deadlines Knowledge of Executive Compensation and equity-based long-term incentives Demonstrated experience managing and developing high-performing teams Ability to influence senior stakeholders and solve complex, ambiguous problems with discretion and analytical rigor Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail Superior verbal and written communication skills Ability to problem solve in ambiguous situations Knowledge of legislation impacting compensation (e.g. FLSA, pay transparency) Experience of Mercer IPE, Workday, and Google Suite preferred, but not required CCP certification preferred Our Commitment to Inclusion Through the Booking Holdings brands, we help our customers reach all corners of the earth. In addition to a competitive base salary, roles are eligible to be considered for an annual bonus and equity grant. The base salary range for Connecticut and the NYC-metro area is $171,900 - $210,100.
