Greif is looking for a Senior Communications Manager to own our message, craft compelling stories, and bring them to life—no hand-holding required. In this high-impact, high-visibility role, you’ll lead internal communications and play a key role in shaping external messaging with confidence, clarity, and creativity. You’ll be responsible for setting strategy while also rolling up your sleeves to execute, ensuring consistent, engaging communication across audiences. Requirements

  • Typically possesses a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent).
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience working with executive leadership.
  • Strong writing skills and a knack for storytelling.
  • Ability to lead, manage, and deliver without micromanagement.
  • Comfortable working at a fast pace, juggling projects, and deadlines.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with digital communications platforms and measurement tools.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Notified, Staffbase, Sharepoint, Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Workfront.
  • Appreciation for the Oxford Comma.

Responsibilities

  • Own Internal Communications: Lead the internal comms strategy and execution, from high-level vision to daily execution and details.
  • Help Craft Our Narrative: Find the narrative thread that connects the dots and brings our brand and work to life.
  • Drive Messages, Consistently: Be the voice-checker, tone-polisher, and message-master across communications.
  • Lead with Autonomy: Exercise confidence, independence, and good judgment in communications.
  • Plan and Execute Events: Ensure strong messaging, clear purpose, and actual impact for events.
  • Create Processes That Work: Streamline communication processes to make them easier, faster, simpler, and smarter.
  • Measure What Matters: Track the effectiveness of communications and improve based on data.
