About The Position

Be a Key Player in a High-Impact Role: As a Sr. Commercial Counsel, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Supermicro's commercial strategy, advising on legal and business risks, and driving the growth of our key partnerships. Support Strategic Growth: Your legal expertise will help facilitate complex domestic and international commercial transactions and guide the business in developing long-term, successful relationships with our partners. Requirements

10+ years of experience as a commercial attorney in a law firm or in-house legal department (preferred).
Experience with M&A and financing projects, entity management, and a broad range of corporate matters.
Collaborative team player with the ability to effectively communicate with other members of the legal team and business stakeholders.
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to legal matters.
High ethical standards, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving skills.
Juris Doctor (JD)
Licensed to practice law, preferably in California.

Responsibilities

Commercial Contract Management: Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Product Management, Finance, and Accounting teams on the development and negotiation of various commercial contracts (sales, procurement, channel, OEM, support, services, marketing, logistics and more).
Provide legal advice on potential risks related to commercial transactions and offer creative, practical solutions to meet business goals.
Advise on legal and strategic business matters to foster long-term relationships with key partners, supporting commercial aspects of Supermicro's products and programs.
Process and Strategy Development: Assist in developing form agreements, establishing best practices, and leading training initiatives to drive continuous improvement in legal processes.
Contribute to the development of scalable processes to support the rapid growth of the business.
Regulatory and Compliance Support: Stay updated on applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards that impact commercial agreements and guide the business accordingly.
Support the company's efforts in maintaining regulatory and compliance standards across various business functions.
Dynamic Team Collaboration: As a valuable member of the Legal team, contribute to other legal projects and tasks that arise across the organization, expanding your scope of impact.
