The Atlantic Region CBO is seeking a dynamic and talented Senior Collection Specialist.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and 3-5 years collections experience preferred
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Customer focused both internally and externally
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task
• Strong 10 key data entry skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Familiarity with insurance collections and 3-5 years healthcare business office experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Work and monitor high dollar outstanding claims or special collection work list
• Provides assistance to collection manager and team lead by reviewing and/or creating daily, weekly and monthly reports as assigned
• Participates in the training of new hires and ongoing in services as appropriate concerning areas of responsibility and payer specific updates
• Assist department manager and team leads with developing group departmental goals and objectives
• Other duties as assigned
