About The Position

Are you passionate about precision, innovation, and working with cutting-edge technology? Join our Fabrication team as a CNC Optical Technician, where you'll help produce high-performance optical components using advanced CNC diamond turning equipment. Shifts Available: 1st Shift: Monday-Thursday, 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM 2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday, 3:15 PM - 1:45 AM.

Requirements

• U.S. Person status (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read and follow written instructions in English
• Basic computer skills for data entry and equipment operation
• 5+ years of experience in machining or CNC production environments
• Proficiency in CNC equipment setup and operation

Nice To Haves

• 10+ years of experience in machining or CNC production environments
• Experience with precision measurements on optical or mechanical components

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain CNC diamond turning machines to support production goals.
• Interpret engineering drawings and follow standardized work instructions and lean manufacturing processes.
• Use metrology tools to inspect and verify that optical components meet exacting specifications.
• Perform manual cleaning of optical surfaces using appropriate solvents and materials.
• Collect and analyze production data using basic math and statistical tools.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
