Position Overview: ZenPoint Solutions is seeking a Sr. Cloud Solutions Architect who will serve as a key technical leader focused on designing and implementing scalable, secure microservices within a cloud-based enterprise system. This role leverages AWS infrastructure, containerization tools such as Kubernetes and Docker, and development languages including C#, Java, and Python. The ideal candidate will lead development teams, ensure system security, and collaborate with stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle. This position will support a team responsible for the design, architecture, and implementation of a secure application development environment specifically engineered to accelerate the organization’s SAFe transformation. The team’s effort will focus on modernizing mission-critical vetting systems that will support national security through the transition from team-level Scrum to the Agile SAFe 6.0 framework, the development and deployment of a secure cloud-native microservices architecture, the implementation of DevSecOps and Zero Trust practices, and the sustainment and modernization of legacy systems into a unified platform.
Requirements
- Candidate must be a United States Citizen and present proof of Citizenship, if selected
- Candidate must have a minimum of 8 years of experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with government Amazon Web Services (AWS) SC2S and C2S enclaves
- Extensive experience providing leadership expertise for large scale teams spanning multiple environments (cloud, on-prem, and COTS) and security enclaves
Nice To Haves
- Current SAFe for Architects (ARCH) certification
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferred) or equivalent experience
Responsibilities
- Develop strategies for cloud-based platforms
- Translate business needs into long-term architecture solutions
- Develop and design solutions as needed, evaluating multiple software platforms, and integrating systems
- Able to design automation for cloud resources using DevOps best practices
- Act as highest-level technical expert, addressing problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms
- Responsible for project completion
- Perform feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management
- May lead a large development team in the design of highly complex software systems
