The Cloud Engineer is responsible for maintaining the company's cloud-based storage, services, and infrastructure. This includes implementation of cloud solutions, cloud management, and monitoring of cloud solutions. The Cloud Engineer administers and maintains the architecture and deployed cloud environments, including public cloud, private cloud, and hybrid cloud. Planning and executing on prem servers and services to the cloud.

  • Management of cloud environments with a primary focus on Azure and secondary focus on AWS.
  • Demonstrate technical cloud knowledge to provide support of production, staging, QA and development cloud infrastructures running in 24x7 environments.
  • Provide infrastructure migration including strategic application movements into the cloud implementations of Azure or AWS within our global enterprise environments.
  • Nurture cloud computing expertise internally and externally to drive cloud adoption.
  • Create and execute security strategies independently and in collaboration with cloud vendors. Also, monitor systems for potential risks.
  • Configure and manage SSO/SCIM integrations with 3rd party vendors.
  • Manage Role Based Access Policies and Privileged Identity Management.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience.
  • 5 years of relevant experience supporting cloud solutions.
  • Azure or AWS based cloud support and migration skills and experience.
  • Strong understanding across cloud and infrastructure components (server, storage, network, security, data, and applications).
  • Knowledge of additional cloud technologies (Azure, S3, VMware).
  • 5+ years' experience as an IT Systems Engineer, with focus on Azure, cloud, server, storage, and networking.
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in enterprise applications, solutions, and data center infrastructures.
  • Ability to work with team members from around the globe / experience working with offshore models.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Technology.
  • Relevant Industry certifications such on Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
