Requirements
- Active Secret clearance (TS preferred)
- 4+ years of cloud engineering experience, including at least 2 years working in GCP environments
- Strong hands-on expertise with Compute Engine, Cloud Functions, VPC, IAM, GKE, and BigQuery
- Experience building infrastructure with Terraform, Ansible, or Deployment Manager
- Working knowledge of CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Cloud Build
- Solid understanding of Linux administration, networking, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Experience supporting Agile/Scrum development environments
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable, and resilient cloud infrastructure within Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Develop and manage Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform, Deployment Manager, or similar tools
- Support and optimize CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Cloud Build
- Collaborate with developers, cybersecurity experts, and government partners to streamline deployment workflows
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve system performance to ensure uptime, reliability, and SLA compliance
- Implement federal cloud compliance standards (e.g., FedRAMP, NIST) and enforce best practices for security and governance
- Contribute to documentation, automation scripts, and internal knowledge sharing to support continuous improvement
