The Senior Clinical Data Analyst - Radiology plays a key role in transforming imaging data into actionable insights that improve patient care, streamline operations, and guide long-term strategy. You will translate complex clinical data into interactive Tableau dashboards using Databricks SQL to enable leadership to make data-driven decisions. In addition, you'll extract and validate data from EPIC and radiology systems, ensure accuracy and reliability, and summarize findings to department leadership.   • Develops an in-depth understanding of the department workflows, policies, procedures; business objectives; regulatory requirements, client groups and related systems.
  • Identifies and selects data elements needed to produce required report results.
  • Runs report(s), evaluates results, and conducts data analysis.
  • Evaluates and resolves data discrepancies.
  • Performs basic and advanced analysis such as sums, percentages, data mining, multivariable statistics, etc., and ensures integrity of data and reliability of results.
  • Escalates any unresolved issues to supervisor.
  • Works with client group(s) to develop an understanding of their business processes and data reporting requirements.
  • Writes reports and performs a range of data analysis of administrative and clinical information for a select client group.
  • Develops and maintains analytics platform.
  • Provides data analysis that supports client groups' clinical and business operations.
  • Maintains dashboards and KPI's.
  • Performs clinical data coding.
  • Coordinates application support with other information technology teams including Infrastructure, Integration, Reporting, and the help desk.
  • Builds analytics.
  • Uses Tableau / SQL / R Studio.
  • Anticipates and resolves system problems.
  • Researches issues and uses independent analysis and judgment to produce solution options.
  • Leads small to medium complexity software upgrade initiatives or enhancements to workflows including the design, build, and test phases.
  • Bachelor's degree in a work-related discipline/field from an accredited college or university.
  • Five years of relevant work experience.
  • Ability to analyze data, draw conclusions and interpret results.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to perform standard business math, financial data and make simple projections.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively both as a team player and leader.
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Knowledge of computer systems and software used in functional area.
  • Knowledge of current issues and trends in health care and clinical operations in a health care system.
  • Knowledge of Epic Software as well as other information systems, clinical software, and computer applications used in a healthcare setting.
  • Have a background in radiology or ARRT, RDMS, RDCS, RVT, RMSKS, CNMT BSRT, MRSO, MRSC.
  • Basic understanding of scripting and coding.
