Texoma Medical Center, a 414-bed acute care facility has been providing quality health care to the residents of North Texas and Southern Oklahoma since 1965. Our main campus is located in Denison, Texas, approximately one hour north of the Dallas/Fort Worth area and just south of the Texas/Oklahoma border. Requirements

  • Associate of Science in Nursing or other related Healthcare profession required.
  • Two years of clinical experience in direct patient care in a critical care or emergency room setting required.
  • Requires the ability to work with all levels of staff with emphasis on physicians, nursing and clinical staff.
  • Must be able to identify and competently address needs of populations served.
  • Ability to work with all levels of staff with particular emphasis on clinical staff.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Direct patient care and Clinical management experience.
  • Computer skills. Working knowledge of MS Office products and Hospital information systems.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for implementation activities for clinical systems which includes project management, Design, Testing, Training, and Go Live support and coordination.
  • Application support as specifically related to nursing, ancillary and physician applications.
  • Provide physician training for Cerner and new clinical applications as they are rolled out.
  • Provide clinical decision support, system administration for assigned clinical applications.
  • Provide reporting and analysis of Clinical Information System activities and formulate recommendations designed to improve operational effectiveness.
  • Provide support to management for program development and budget submissions.
  • Fully support the mission of the Information Systems department.
  • Support and implement new automated programs in the Cath Lab.
  • Would be responsible for all NCDR operations including TAVR, PCI, LAAO, Mitral-Clip and Tricuspid Clip.
