About The Position

A civil engineering company located in Scranton, PA is seeking a Sr. Civil Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will be a Civil Engineer with at least 5 years of experience in the design and management of land development projects. Candidates should have experience with project management including building and maintaining client relations and working with a team to successfully complete land development projects.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field
EIT certification required, PE preferred
Minimum of +5 years career experience
Applicant must be able to commute to Scranton, PA location

Responsibilities

Design of subdivisions and land development submissions
Zoning and approvals process
Stormwater management/calculations
Site design, grading, and erosion and sediment control plans
Site utilities
PennDOT/DEP permitting/NPDES
Hydraulic calculations
Cost estimating
Assisting department head in project proposals and managing contracts, QA/QC and design oversight
Mentoring/managing junior engineers and designers
Ability to attend evening meetings
