About The Position

EMH&T is looking for a Senior Civil Engineer, PE to join our team as a Project Manager in our Development II division located in Columbus, OH. As a PM, you will work directly with the client and are responsible for the planning and organizing of workflow, providing technical oversight of various project components, overseeing the preparation of design calculations, details and specifications, as well as plan reviews and modifications. Our Development II engineers are involved in commercial site development design projects and work collaboratively with the project team to develop creative solutions to address client needs and solve design and construction challenges that may arise. Your projects will include the design of site and civil engineering for retail, office, commercial, industrial and mixed-use developments. Our clients include healthcare campuses, large scale office complexes and other commercial developments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Professionally licensed in Ohio.
  • Site civil development experience.
  • 10+ years work experience in the civil engineering is required.
  • A self-starter that demonstrates dependability and consistent work efforts.
  • Ability to work independently and enjoys working in a team environment, enjoys mentoring others.
  • Planning and organization capabilities with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to express ideas clearly.
  • Consistent work effort and dependability.
  • Ability to apply technical know-how to a diverse range of projects.
